I am a therapist with an MSW (master’s in social work with an ACSW number), a certified interventionist (CCMI) and a certified drug and alcohol counselor (CADC-ll), based in Southern California. I have personally been in recovery for over 30 years. For many years I was a caseworker and supervisory facilitator at CRI-Help, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA where I now work as the resident therapist at their outpatient. I have also recently begun working at Pierce College as an adjunct professor in the Addiction Studies department.
My passion in the recovery field is holistic recovery for the person in crisis as well as the entire family system. I am equipped to counsel and intervene in the areas of alcoholism, drug addiction, co-occurring mental illness and various process/behavioral addictions (such as sex & love addiction, food addition, exercise addiction, gambling addiction and electronics/gaming/social media addiction). I currently work with Intervention911 and Harmony Place treatment center. I am available for interventions (including pre-interventions and comprehensive case management post-intervention), individual and family counseling, sober transport and all aspects of treatment planning.
